They Fell in love with each other in the shooting of 'Amarkalam' and got married on april 14th 2000.It is already 8years since they got marries.Shalini stopped acting afer marriage and stayed by Ajith's side durring his hits and flops.
The couple had a girl child last year and her name is Anoushka.
